Says it's on a RR chassis, so could be legit.
Who was he intending to race it against? It doesn't look if its built to any club rules.

The fact that a 90 body wont fit on a RR chassis without it being Modified dont matter then??:doh::doh:

It would have to be a very early chassis and the fact that the engine is not a 3.5 na suggests that has also been changed so there's no way it would have enough points to even retain it's original registration let alone tax exempt status.

Doesn't really look like the sort of thing you'd want to drive on the road anyway though.

Me mate not wanting to get dragged into it, did it anonymously, but they say they will look at it as DVLA agree it's not what it is registered as.
Me mate being a classic car fan was well ****ed off. 1973 rr not

Reason He's ****ed off is
1) reckons it's a q plate or al least not tax exempt
2) unwary buyer will find MOT tester will suggest it needs an inspection-possible refusal of test
3) unless you have a traders policy, chances are any accident=no insurance.
4) he's classic range rover (love them) and
classic ford mad (each to their own)
5) worried that if too many people take the ****-spoils it for genuine classics.

Is there such a thing as a classic ford, well bar rust?
