lock stop adgustment

near big mountains and lots of mud
tried adjusting my lock stops,LH wheel is hitting the trailing arm on full lock,i can see the bolt head is a 19mm,but the nut looks like a 18mm?anyone know?

That job is sooo much easier to do with two people.

I did it on my own once after replacing my wheels, had to tie a strap to the steering wheel and hang it out the window so I could pull it to full lock whilst underneath. Pain the the backside it was.

Btw, mine were 19mm also. In fact, I wonder if you might get away without the nuts if you don't have the brake disc cover plates. The thing the bolt goes through is threaded anyway, and will soon be gunked up with mud and crap that I can't imagine the bolt would turn under vibration.

Be darned inconvenient if it did tho..... for the sake of putting a spanner on it, I'd stick with what the factory went with meself....? Each to their own I guess. And it does hold that luverly disc cover in place :rolleyes: - A
