Hi Guys

I have just put a light bar on the roof of my disco 1
complete with 4 lights works well except i am getting some
glare

Has anyone had same problem if so did you find a cure
or is it a thing we have to live with

its a known problem - which is why clevva peeps dont do it - or just put em up there for show.

yu can save money by not wiring em up - that saves on glare anorl.

Yeah exactly the same prob unitl I made an anti-glare shield. If I knew how to put a pic in here I would.

Where is the glare coming from, above windscreen or off bonnet? If above windscreen try moving lights back behind top of screen, if bonnet paint it matt black (old fighter trick).

The Camel trophy discoverys had a black sticker over the bonnet to reduce the glare -

Either move them further back, mount them further down (If you have put the lights on top of the bar, put them underneath) or put up with it.

Ah yeah i forgot about them - Peice of metal at the bottom of the light that stops the light hitting the bonnet ain't it?

I have the glare as well....not fun!!
the lights are handy though as Salisbury plain in the dark is quite scary....specially when you get the tanks driving around with their lights off!!

I still have to sort it out though...probably will start by the piece of metal under the lights see if it cures the problem, if not it's matt black paint on the bonnet...
