Bought a full set of lights from Paddocks, cant see them on there site now but same as this one, but the full set, Britpart. RTC5012 | Sidelight assembly There advertised on ebay ect too.
Anyway fitted one of the side lights as my old one the bulb kept popping out, it was a struggle to get it in even had to shave a bit off the rubber to make it fit very cheaply made thin plastic things, as damaged it trying to fit it through the hole. wished Id gone for some better qaulity now as the bulb is doing excactly the same popping out of the holder all the time. Unless Ive done somthing wrong.
My other lights are working OK, so will leave them for now.

One of my headlights has gone off too comes on now and then but off most of the time, can the headlight bulb be changed from inside the wing? as dont want to have to take this side light off again and damage it more??

In a word no, the headlamp itself is housed inside a headlamp bowl and you can't get access to the bulb without taking it to bits. Craddocks sidelights are made by Bearmach and are a similar price

I ordered some britpart side lights. In the end I just used the side light caps and the old bulb holding bits. Yours look different to mine, but could you just not do that?

i had similar many moons ago.

ended up with wipac units - still had to bend the bulb tabs out to hold it in place better.

Have since got a set of their LED units - but have not fitted them yet to compare.

Unfortunately you have been stung by another poor quality part from Britpart.

I bought 1 of the BP ones years ago as a temp fix for a totally knackered tail light that was going to be replaced with an LED light.

The plastic was so poor that after a little heat from the lamp the pins on the bayonet cap started to melt a track down the sides and the lamp stopped working. I ended up fixing the original one and using the new ruby (lens).

Best bet is to try and source OE ones which will last. I believe Wipac.

The headlight lamps cannot be changed from the rear if you have the standard pre td5 bowls.
