Levelled or Non Levelled Suspension????

Hello everyone, I'm looking at adverts for rear springs and there is an option asking whether the 110 is 'levelled suspension' or 'non levelled' suspension? I'm not familiar with this term can someone help me out please? thanks steve.

Have ye got an anti-roll bar and a bulbous lookin' thing comin' from yer A-frame ball joint on the rear? If not, then it's a ''non-levelled''

is there a what looks like a dirty great shock absorber going between your a frame and the chassis? if there is its yer self leveling unit

Even if you have one, many dont work... common fault. It should pump up when you have a heavy load in the back... it does this when going over bumps and pumps up to level it out. No electrics or owt...

whats the advantage of having or not having a leveled suspension? My 110 doesn't have one.

Not having it improves articulation.

Having it limits improves road handling and keeps the landy sitting level when heavily laden. Ideal for when towing aswell as carrying a load as the rear ride height will pretty much always be the same..

Thats funny that I suspected as above aswell but... A std RRC had one and articulation was far greater with it and no anti roll bars somthing to do with it being seized and pivoting around ita axis? Not convinced myself. Anyone heared of it? I remember somone telling me that they welded it up on a comp motor and the motor did perfromed well AROC Regs. heavy lump to carry about though

there expensive things my old 110CSW had one, the ball joints top and bottom of it seize up as well, the good thing is it makes for a smoother ride, When the knacker most people put normal springs on, replace the afram ball joint with on from gwen lewis (hhmm think thats how you spell it) a lot cheaper and more reliable
