Lego Land Rover

Good evening to everyone!

I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right place so hoping that I am!

I wanted to share with you a Lego Land Rover project that my son and I have built. We love Land Rovers and we love Lego so we thought why not mix the two? It took quite a while but it's now finished. Then we decided to put it on Lego Ideas website which is where you have to gain 10,000 supporters and if you get them then Lego will consider making it as a product to go in the shops! Have a look at the pictures and let us know your thoughts/feedback.

If you like it then we would be really grateful if you would register using the link below and make sure you press support. It is these votes that count. At the moment we are on just over 1700 supporters. Land Rover Monthly are going to do a feature in their next issue on it! We have had great feedback so far so feeling positive

That is brilliant - we noticed Lego have just bought out a 4x4 but it looks like a Jeep more than anything else. Your Landy looks ace. Are you going to put it on Facebook to get more votes? Good luck with it!

Thank you! We thought it would be good to do the Land Rover with it being the last year as a tribute. Yes, we have seen a jeep type thing but thought our project would fit in with the Lego vehicle range like the campervan and mini.

We have put it on Facebook and just trying to put it everywhere we can the main thing is to get people to register with Lego Ideas, support us and share it with others. Can we count on your support?

Thats amazing

Best i can build with lego is a house, but it never has roof. So essentially 4 walls with the odd hole as a window.

Thank you. It did take us weeks to build it as kept taking it apart to modify it. Still do that now after feedback from people, trying to get it just right!

Just to let you know we will be at The Great British Land Rover Show at Donington on the 29th November so come and have a closer look at our Lego Land Rover and say hello!

I've just registered on the Lego website you mentioned above and "supported" your build for production - It is nice work and I hope it goes forward. Well done to you and your son. BTW did you see the duck egg series 3 on Lego?

How about lifting the suspension by one tile? I registered and voted for you, and then cursed because my Son and I might have entered too!

Oh thank you for your support we really appreciate it especially if you were doing your own project. We have lifted it slightly since the original photos following feedback so hopefully is better now. It is on our updates on Lego Ideas page. Just about to add other update in next couple of days.
