Hi guys, finally got myself a Landy, wheyy. Definitely on the dodgy side shall we say but im working on it one hole and undone bodge at a time. After owning/abusing/working on mainly VAG crap im loving how easy this disco is to work on, plus no ****e ecus in sight, bliss.
Ive got the 4 door D1 and was wondering if it would be possible to adapt the rear side panels from a 2 door D1 commercial ive seen on eBay to fit. Im not one to shy from a bit of fab work but im not too clued up on the specifics like are the front doors the same size which would obviously throw a spanner in the works. Worst case id just do a body swap in the future but i think if its possible this would be a bit more fun to pull off

Welcome.
It’s a lot of work to remove them panels. How about just filling the windows in?
Done this to my alpine windows, rear door & rear passenger doors on a recovery disco I had.
(Used a high bond sickaflex)
