Hello everybody
I hope everyone is well and safe ! I am reaching out as I am highly interested in painting the steel wheels of my Land Rover Discovery 1. The originals were greyish in colour. The issue is that i do not know the appropriate colour code for the above mentioned wheels. I am attaching a random photo of the wheel type i have for clarification reasons ! Let me know if possible !
Thank you !

You may not like this, but I am tempted to say, does it really matter? Why not just paint them any colour you fancy?
You could even paint them body colour!
Or do some masking up and do it two tone, or even more than two-tone!
Go wild!
(You are probably trying to get it back to to factory spec, don't tell me.........)

I completely understand your point ! I must admit however, i am a bit of an OCD type guy when it comes to factory specs.... :)

Mine were/are silver as I'm sure most of this type were from the factory. LR probably bought them in as a finished product so you may not find a LR paint code for them .

Thanks for the info ! I guess i will have to match the colour ! I am going to use Glasurit. Would their paints be suitable ?

had a little poke around and came up with this.

But to get silver you'll need to look right through the list, maybe a search for "best silver paint for wheels" or summat!

To me the most important thing would be the top coat for durability. In fact i would consider giving it more than one coat of it, over time allowing plenty of drying/finishing time as wheels to have atough time of things on a Landy!
