Land Rover Alloy Wheels - purchased from a Gangster by a Prize Clown

I recently bought a set of five 16" land Rover Alloy wheels which are marked with the following on the inner side of the wheel:

7.0 JX16AH2

ET 57.0 E-DOT

RRC000040 MNH

C Land Rover SF1

I bought them from a man who has "gone to ground" who said that he took them of his own Land Rover Defender.

Although i have not tried to fit them to the car itself, I have removed the spare and attempted to fit the new rim to the spare carrier.

..... You are all at least one step ahead of me at this stage but i'll go on anyway!... They did not fit!!!

I can not find the vehicle that these where manufactured for. The words made in Hungary are also on the inner rim and they are dated at 01.12.03 & 04

Can any one tell me what vehicle these very shiny Land Rover Wheels are intended for? I would like to sell them on to someone who has a car for these.

regards (or should it be Retard)

Alan

dunno about the serial numbers but what year is your land rover? if its an earlier 1 its your axles are wrong for the wheels or vice-versa can get around this problem with some 20mm/30mm wheel spacers ;)

Just post the PCD and we will give you a list of vehicles they will fit...

If you arent sure how on a 5 stud wheel you measure centre of a bolt hole to a line opposite drawn from the centre of the two 'opposite holes' , ie half way between the two opposite holes... is it 114mm by any chance???

Cheers Steve
