Land rover 90 door seal.

My 90 door seals are catching the door when it closes and just sticks.
I can hold the seal back and the door closes ok.
I can cut out the piece that is causing the problem but that cannot be correct.
Doors are adjusted to close nicely and the seals are original, it is the soft rubber bit that is catching.
Anybody had this and found a cure.

Do you mean the seal that goes around the seam made by the bulkhead, roof and tub? Or, the one along the bottom?
I don't understand how the door can be 'catching' and 'sticking'. Pictures?
