L322 sun roof motor

I have removed my nonworking sunroof motor and found that it was a loose wire which I have resoldered and happy days now works brilliant . The only problem being it does not seem to fit into the space it came out of ???????
The control box body seems to butt up against the bodywork and I am unable to align the screws to refit the motor.
Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you overcome the problem please .
From a totally flummoxed turbo 1541 .

I had that as well, I think I just had the motor the wrong way round.
