L322 td6 2002 model

Have been having problems with the car shaking at around 50mph, the car does not always do this and seems only when the car is warm. Have checked under the car for damage and loose items and all i found was a snaped anti roll bar on the front so that has been replaced.

Car has done 80k and is in very good condtion, It feels like a bent drive shaft or wheel when it shakes, if i ease of the throttle it go's away and some times comes back some times doe's not.

Have been told by people prop shafts get play in them?

Anyone got any ideas?

A common problem is wheels going out of balance. A shake at 50mph is very often down to a rear wheel out of balance.
This is particularly so if you have been off road and have gotten muck unevenly in the wheel rim or if you've just powerwashed the wheels and have not done it on the inside and completlely.
I'd say check to see if the wheels are clean inside and out and then check if you have lost any balance weights.

Have checked all wheels and there fine, just replaced front prop and diff cup incase they were worn but still have the problem

Mine was shaking really violently until I replaced all four front wishbone bushes. Mine's got bigger alloys though and has done 100k so guessing that didn't help matters.

Get the car jacked up, hold the wheel at the top and bottom and try and move the wheel in and out, you could feel the play in my joints, all four rubber ball joints had to be done before it drove smooth again
