L322 L322 seat upgrade to facelift

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has successfully changed the seats on an early l322 (04 plate age) to the newer 2006 facelift seats. Mine are getting tired and driver's seat is ripped and have the opportunity to get for free the seats from a 2008 car but I know the wiring connections are different. If it can be done without too much hassle be a great upgrade for me. Thanks in advance and stay safe
