L322 reverse PDC question

on the L322, should the reverse parking sensors 'beep' every time you put it in reverse and get close to something, or only when the button is pressed on the dash/console (button with 'P' on it, and sort of shock wave design)

The rear sensors become active as soon as you put it in reverse. If you've got front sensors they also become active at the same time, but unlike the rear ones are not deactivated by taking the car out of reverse. Unless you press the button on the dash.

so the button on the dash only de-activates the front sensors? and is it de-activated when the light is on, or off?

Just checked mine and the button seems to disable front AND rear when it's pressed (light OFF = deactivated). Both sensors are active when the light's on as far as I can tell.
