Hi all

Just collected my car from garage as it has just had a small coolant leak sorted, while i was there i got the guy to plug his autologic diagnostic system into the car just to check that there were no other registered faults, he connected the unit to the car and set the system to the correct range rover model on the computer, but the car does not seem to be supplying any information or giving any readings out, all the diagnostic system reported was that is could not communicate with the cars ecus, the guy was baffled why it wasn't working so he checked his diagnostic system out on another L322 range rover which worked fine so i need to work out why mines not communicating with the diagnostic system. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be, i have checked the two fuses that are listed on the glove box fuse panel and they appear to be fine, any other ideas would be very helpful.

Thanks
Matt

Did you get this sorted??, i had a similar problem on my 2002 4.4 petrol when i tried to connect my Launch x431, i traced it to 2 problems, the first one was a blown fuse in the passenger fuse box which was not providing 12 volts to the X431 ( although the unit would still power up by the power lead, but would not communicate ) second was that i must have bent one of the pins in the DLC.....it was frustrating because the X431 would read the ECM of my TD6 with no problems.
