L322 blows blue smoke when swiched off

Hi All,

I have a 2004 L322 Tdi6. It starts and runs fine, no smoke. When I switch off the engine, a fan runs and blows a lot of blue smoke from under the car. What has gone wrong?

Not familiar with the car but has it got a coolant heater or indipendent cab heater

Fixed it. The main engine thermostat had failed so the FBH remained on all the time. Replaced the 'stat - all is good.
