hi ,i wish to replace the front subframe and what is the best way to do it,and how to do it,thanks in advance for your help
Depending on what your using to lift the car and lower the sub frame. My experience from other vehicles is always leave two diagonal sub frame bolts until it's ready to drop.
Hang the engine from a wing frame and tie what you can upto the car. I'm notnoverly familiar with your beast but it's a case of taking your time and removing what is feasible and suspending the rest.
It won't be an easy job. Be prepared for possibly cutting and replacing some bolts especially suspension arm bolts. ;)

these are good for hanging engines from above if they rely on the subframe for support.

Hi,
Yes I did my front subframe. TD6!. from memory quite easy. Both driveshafts out. exhaust off. I hung engine with engine hoist. two engine mount bolts off. disconnect steering pipes from steering rack. then undo 4 subframe bolts and it will come out with rack on. once out remove rack. fit to new subframe then back up. bolts in. connect rack to steering colum. connect steering pipes.
What I did learn is dont tighten bushes until wheels are on the ground then tighten, or thew bushes will grind away making an awful noise.
