new on this forum. Have owned three freelanders. Went to a jeep Cherokee briefly (big mistake) so have now bought a 54 plate diesel freelander last week. Last mot said the diff mount was worn, I think. Test drive and heard knocking from the undercarriage on full lock right. Dealer said it is related to the diff mount thing and was an easy fix. I've rung around some mechanics and they vary but saying it's the differential gone and could cost £1000+. So question does this sound likely and does anyone reckon I have a case to ask the dealer to cover it. I have a small holding so use my car as a good work horse. Thanks
