I have a proper leak on the front output shaft on my transfer box (about 1/4 litre every 700 miles). yeh I know, they all do but this ones bad.
Changed seal, changed seal & output bearing, flange is good with no grooves etc.. there is play in shaft but a gearbox expert told me that 1/16 " was normal.
