Disco 3 (LR3) keyfob

attempted to replace the battery today in my keyfob but it's been messed around with so going to leave it as this is my only key

have seen some second key fobs on line that are complete, just need the key cutting

however as they are second hand will they recode , got my iid but can u only reprogram new keys that have never been used before

can then easily get the blanks cut and put my original and second hand ones in new cases, sorted,

it's just if i'm able to recode the second hand robs that i'm unsure about

sorry gassing as per usual , hope it makes sense

original needs a new battery installed , will send it away to be repaired

but can't until i get another key

that's why i'm wondering about getting a second hand remote and programming it but unsure if they can indeed be recoded , overwritten to accept a new code

found the answer thks to members on here

ordered a brand new one off ebay, coming from hong kong for £20 inc postage
