Hi Chaps
Very simple I have booked up a 10 day Land Rover trip in the pyerenees in April. I need new tyres. I just cant make my mind up.I have narrowed it down to 2 tyres
General Grabber AT2
Hankook RF10
I like General Tyres but the reviews tell me otherwise. Hankook have better reviews.
Anyone have first hand experience of either tyre please??

My mate is constantly raving about the Goodrich AT tyres on his disco 50k miles a tyre, a decent ride and the way we abuse that thing I can see why. But I have heard good things about those hankooks and have used hankooks on bikes and cars finding them to be pretty well made over all.

General grabber at2 are simply FANTASTIC!

They are much the same in performance and pattern as the bfg, but better priced!

Mine have done just under 40 thou, and still have plenty left! They are very quiet on the road, and tremendous off it! I've followed my brothers 110 which is shod with bfg mud km2, and whilst I did have more wheel spin (off road), I still kept pace and went everywhere he did, and had a much quieter journey home! Would highly recommend!

I bought a set of cooper stt pros a while back, and use them if we are offroading or laning, but the majority of thetime I stick with the generals! Get them, you wont be disappointed!!

Sounds like a great trip, I did it a couple years ago on a ktm, would love to do it again in a landy - we came across various tracks from muddy 'Devon' lanes to rocky boulders,. I'm sure you'll enjoy it whichever tyres you go for. :)
