Got the P38 back on air again over a year after it sighed and dropped ontothe bumpstops.
This is now how she sits in "normal" height. It seems quite a bit higher than I remember...and has a definite list to starboard!
What do you guys think please?

One side is at Wade Height:eek: T'other side is between Wade & normal height by the look of it. Needs calibration.
Thanks Keith. SOMEWHERE, I have the RSW software and Serial adapter, but no working Windows laptop/PC.
I emailed Scotty yonks ago to see if it'd run on a MacBookAir or MacBookPro...I'm sure he said "yes", but gave no explanation of how to set it up.
I'm not particularly clued up on systems these days, but I'll make an effort over next few days.

Just had a thought as I was typing the last sentence.
I have a "Kicker"...think I'll run that and see what happens after that. Fingies and eyes crossed that may "Kick" the problem into touch...

Unlikely the kicker will do anything.

You need to recalibrate it, either with a tape measure and some level ground or home made calibration blocks

Thinking back to 2016 when I bought it, it's NEVER sat correctly, but nothing like the current list. Even when I got a replacement valve block and driver pack from William in Lincoln, it had a slight list to starboard. I stripped the valve block it came with when I bought it, it was absolutely choked with silicone sealant. Mad, I know!!!

Hmm yes mine had a slight drunken lean when I bought it, seemed to get worse as time went by it eventually got to a point where it was on the bumpstops on one side at standard.

Odd, however a recalibration fixed it..

A kicker clears faults, it will not calibrate the suspension. Get yourself a cheap second hand laptop which will also allow you to run RAVE, CrApple is no good for the job.
 
I run EAS Unlock & other diagnostic software (Opel OpCom, Video Analyser SW, Delphi Autocom, etc.), in a Parallels Virtual Machine on my Macbook with zero issues. "RAVE All Models" version works fine with Adobe Reader natively in MacOS.

That sounds encouraging! What's the correct way of "doing that" please? I have Parallels on both my MacBookAir and MacBookPro.
 
Start by building a Windows 7 VM (ideally licensed) in Parallels. I use 40GB HDD, 4GB Memory & 2 CPU.

Step-2 below is the only difference to doing this on a Windows Laptop.
  1. Then install EAS Unlock, but don't dun it yet.
  2. Plug in EAS Cable, and you should get a popup in the Windows VM. Make sure you click the Windows selection, and the Macbook will divert the USB Cable directly to Windows (bypassing Mac drivers)
  3. Now make sure you remove any Microsoft Drivers for USB-Serial, and install the proper FTDI driver.
  4. Check the COM port in windows Device Manager
  5. Now open EAS Unlock and it should connect to ECU.
