Four or more going every DAY on Landywatch.
Had to stop looking on the site, it’s just depressing.
Such a shame that nothing can be done about it.

Iv stopped parking mine up at work at the moment. Get dropped off & collected. Thinking of a good tracker with geofencing so it triggers earlier

It’s rife. There are only a few places I will leave mine, work being one of them as it’s secure. I’m on landywatch too and it’s worrying how often these are getting nicked, never to be seen again...

Keep watching landywatch and subscribe to the lz stolen section so yer get notified when a new fred appears. Yer never know when yer might spot one.

I still can’t figure out how these hundreds of stolen Land Rovers just disappear into thin air.
There must either be dozens of them rolling out of containers every week somewhere or mountains of spares such as doors, bonnets, seats and other parts being sold somewhere.

Where are all these Land Rovers and parts?

Peeps like this:

Stripping them and selling parts online. It's a two edge sword. Owners have them nicked. Owners are prepared to buy second hand parts knowing there's a good chance they're nicked.

Stopping thefts needs more than just keeping our vehicles secure. We need to make sure we’re buying legitimate parts from trustworthy sellers. A genuine seller will have no issue with saying where parts come from and giving you their details. If something looks suspect, it more than likely is. Likewise, cheap parts will probably be nicked. If we don’t buy stolen parts, the market for it isn’t there.
