Engine strip down continues. Took the head off and no.17 head bolt hole (front right) was full of oil. Cleared it out and looking down it looks like its blown out the side? Hard to see and not that clear in the photos but best i could get. Clearly a patch of thread missing and feeling in with a small allan key there's and indent. Seems weird I would have thought if head bolt was tightened when hole full of oil or water it would crack not blow out a small section?

Thoughts on whether this is terminal?

Is it possible that it filled with oil as the bolts were loosened in the correct order, thus alloing a drain through and into the hole?
Was there any oil on the head gasket? If so, that might indicate the track of the oil to the hole.

Yeh there was on the gasket. Looked like had tracked from the main oil feed to the head. Just concerning as there’s a defect in there hole in that direction.
