Hello all. I'm Tammy in SC and new to the forum. We recently purchased 2004 Discovery. Our lights came on (ABS, TC & Downhill) aka the three amigos from what I've read here. My questions is - is it safe to drive with the lights on or do I need to get it in the shop asap?

yes you can drive it ,though obviously no abs etc,but id get the codes read in the not too distant future, its usually a wheel hub and it will fail completely in time

As James has said, you can drive with the lights showing but it's better to deal with the problem sooner rather than later.
I don't know about your state safety inspection, whether you even have that sort of thing in place, but here in the UK a permanent ABS warning light can mean that the vehicle will fail the annual statutory safety test.

Greenville, a really nice place to be, Hot and humid in the summer, Have friends who live there now. I spent a lot of time working in Anderson.

Get it looked at. as said above. it is something going wrong obviously , so better to get it looked at as soon as possible before it causes you a problem.

Cheers
