Is it possible?

I just purchased a 1996 DEF 110 with a 300 TDi. After reading a lot on this forum in just one week I have removed the EGr valve. When everybody seems to see an increase of performance mine is opposite. I see no gain in power at all. I think now I have hard time goiing over 110 Km/h! The blanking plate has been put in place fine and the hose as well.
I plugged the vacuum hose properly with a tight fitted screw.



Is there something I missed ? Was I supposed to remove the EGR switch ?

you will only notice an improvement if it was faulty. If it wasn't faulty then you have prevented the loss of power you would experience when it did go faulty.
