i think its about 1.1ltr if memory serves me correct so you end up buying 2x 1 ltr bottles

and by the way it's considered polite to introduce yourself before asking for help

Apox 1.1 litre was all I could fit in mine till it started to dribble out the fill/level plug .

Hi Tom,

Welcome to the forum.

when I changed my IRD oil a couple of months ago I got the new oil from a main LR dealer, he told me 1L would be enough and he was right it took exactly 1L and started to dribble out as the last drop of new oil went in.

A word of warning before you drain the old oil. Make sure you can slacken off the fill/level plug before you drain the old oil off. Lots of people here have had a problem with this filler plug and found they can't get it off to refill after they have drained off the old oil.

If your only topping up the existing oil then 1 litre is enough,
but if your going to undo that bolt then get a set of washers
and nuts from Land Rover and 2 litres of oil and change it instead
of just topping it up..

ird filler pulg TRL100060
