Hi All
Im a Kiwi but have been in London since August last year doing a delayed OE.
Bit of a weird time to be in the UK but has given me a lot of time to start thinking about my LR ambitions.
My father has a 80's 110 when we were growing up in Dubai which he purchased off the local fire brigade with only 15k kms on the clock after around 15 years. I remember him putting in electric windows an AC and we just had a ball.
We also had a 96 Discovery which has stupidly low usage from it being away at our family home back in NZ. All of this meant that I got the bug too.
I cant believe the prices of the Defenders here compared to NZ. I feel like I can finally own one!
So I am here to do some research so that I know what to look for when I go back. Unfortunately shipping back seems like a nightmare from the threads I have read so might not be an option.
