Introduce myself

Hi names John .Been a Land Rover nut for many years to many to remember these days Have owned series111 couple of years, 300tdi Disco for 11years and now have car always wanted a red p38. Had this for 4 years and yes have spent lots and lots of money on it (over £4000 to date) to me worth it. Ex pit fitter so learnt to be adaptable with the hands. Will try and put some photos on so please bare with me.
P38 has sat nav, original radio multi cd player, dvd screens in head rest , blue tooth, air con etc. Had to change engine due to over heating problems , changed gearbox (auto) new compressor for suspension and much more but worth it for the ride Yes its on air and always will be. Any comments and questions greatly received and the **** can taken as enjoy the banter Cheers hope to enjoy myself with you all.

you have come to the right place you will not get better help for a p38 anyware else

Looks like a dinosaur but actually my lucky frog. Upto 3yrs ago worked as a caretaker in a local primary school until had a heart attack and had to finish. Once talking to some kids about foreign food I told them I loved France because they could eat frogs legs. They were horrified and started giving me toy frogs to make me not eat them . Bless their little souls Hence toy frogs all over.

Welcome to the forum. To be serious though you had better get a grip of a few rules:
If your TV's don't work..Don't ask.!
Make sure your headlamp wipers are ALWAYS level.
If @wammers says do something, just do it..! (It will work)
If you mention coils.. leave now.
Research and have in-depth knowledge of banana butties & dinosaur eggs.
Apart from that, welcome..

My neighbours kept asking me why I kept taking things off my P38, now that's it's working?

I told them I was looking for dinosaurs and it sorta stuck. They look at me weird as if they thought I was serious

And now I see dinosaurs everywhere

Sunglasses no they belong to the frog. Mine are kept out of sight. Paid too much for them to leave on display for toe rags to "borrow" With glasses like that they think I am poor

That girl had a brandnew L405, under warranty, demanding help and being rude. Was unethical to help her as would void her warranty - I'm sure you'd get help with the TVs.

His wipers are double so shh for now

Tis er DHSE so it will be top spec.

Tv's are a rare expensive extra. Henry says they were £1G new and I believe him. All the wood panels and the luxurious cream leather interior with with all the glove box bits/door cards. I'm gonna guess it's trim 'P+'. Mine is 'D' in comparison. Stated on slam panel (passenger side under front of bonnet).

Vogue/overfinch are the top spec trims. As far as we can tell in DHSE the 'H' stands for cupholders @Mark Piercy

Have got loads of service history, receipts and paper work for this Rangie. One receipt is for the dvd tv installation and it is £1800. To be honest not worth it but not complaining as I didn't pay it but some one did

That is aftermarket then, not an option when bought? The top spec trim available (vogues etc) is pretty much what you have in your diesel

Cheers for that good to know. That's why I joined to find things out. Don't watch them anyway as behind me and would need a right swan neck to see screen. Only been used twice
