Intermittent misfire and stalling

Hi,
I’m new to this forum, so hello to all!
Iv a 2009 Range Rover sport 3.0tdv6. Just today it started misfiring intermittently and after 5-6 times it will cut out. Starts straight up again and does the same all over again. No engine management light and no fault codes showing. Any ideas where to start?
Fuel gauge only works intermittently too but has been like this for months with no hassle until now,
Any help would be much appreciated!

+1, does the fuel gauge sensor and the fuel pump share the same power supply as per P38?

If the fuel gauge is faulty .Could it be a lack of fuel ,just a thought

Have had it plugged into a Delphi diagnostics system, no codes showing but can’t check any live data on this with my computer,
Plenty of fuel in the tank just the gauge plays about from time to time, I’ll try and post a video of what it’s doing,

Have a read here , looks like it might be engine ECU cutting engine if it thinks it’s running out of fuel
