Insurance renewal time

I just got the insurance renewal through and joy of joys its gone up 50%. Nothing has changed since last year apart from another years no claims. How can a policy go up by so much in a year?

Oh and my old 1984 110 V8 was only 90 quid but the 1990 90 was quoted at 400 flippin quid, dont make any sense to me

I think they all try it on, people are lazy, the renewal comes through with a nice easy direct debit set up and a percentage just let it go

They all want your business, just get a lower quote and go back

engine gone pop now though,so looking at a series3.
having areal job to insure it though cos it's had a transit engine put in it?
how many series landys are on the road with the original engine?
