Disco 1 Inner wing box section

Hi All
When you remover the outer front wing from a Discovery 1 the first thing you see id a longitudinal box section spot welded to the outer face of the inner wing.

Mine has rotted quite badly and I am just wondering if anyone sells these.

If not I will have to make one

Just spoken to Froggat's(easy on panels) They don't sell that as a separate item but they are going to see what they can do.
It is for the driver's side. I haven't looked at the nearside yet.
I may be interested if you have a spare. Thanks

The spare I have is the NS, so the wrong way up for you (!). Sorry.

Worth having a look at the other side - take the indicator out and use a powerful torch to have a nosy in there...

This Land Rover Discovery 1/Range Rover Classic inner wing part G the support strut, is 1.2mm thick made from zintec coated mild steel and are machine cut and CNC pressed for accuracy.
If you do not wish to buy the whole inner wing as you only need to replace the corroded part.
The strengthening strutt is universal so will fit both Left hand side and Right hand side on your inner wing.

That is fantastic. Thank you very much. I even phoned them and asked and they said " No. we don't do that part"
