Hi All,
Just joined, so thought I'd say Hi!
I'm a bit of a hobby farmer, and also work in IT.
I used to have a toyota 4runner, but if something broke, I couldn't drive it out of the garage for less than a grand!
Then I saw the light and bought a '92 200tdi defender 110, ex severn trent water, commercial hard-top. Best 4x4 by far
Sadly I had to change jobs and give up my rented land and sheep in 2008, and had to swap the landy for an economical saloon for my new 1.5 hour commute!
anyway, now i have halved the commute, and plans are afoot to get back some land and sheep... and of course, a landy!
Defenders are also the perfect cure for my road rage... my saab 93 is not!
the next 12 months are going to be taken up with me decided:... if and how i can afford a landy... whether it will be a range rover or a defender... and if i can afford to replace the engine and chassis/bulkhead with a dihatsu 2.8td and galv parts...
fingers crossed, and safe driving.
Adam
