Ive found FLux way to expensive for my Landies ever since Ive been into them, Had quote of £600 FC with all the usual Landy owner bits, got better cover (Less Excess) with Glynwood insurance for £180

Also Ive insured my classic mini with Flux for over 12 years and they've got silly to insure that as well so when renewal comes up in April I'll def be looking else where!! Thought a company like that would show some loyalty to long term customers, but its not to be the case!!

Flux were always good on prices when we had imported motor's, but last year they quoted me over £1500 for a standard Disco, got insurance for £750 elsewhere!

Hate to repost, but Coverbox gave me a really good deal on my 97 defender.
Just got a new quote of £400 FC , an i'm only 20 (last year it was £700) but under my dads name too.
    And cause i didn't do all the miles i said i would I get a £100 rebate.
This means getting a tracker fitted though, so some people might not like it
not like i'm gonna speed in a defender though !
But yeh, it does also come down to your postcode and how safe they think the area is

Post Code ratings for Car Insurance

    Hope this helps !

I had the same - they told me they only insured standard cars and as my 110 CSW had 10 seats they couldnt insure it. If I took 4 seats out then it would be ok though.

    Admiral Multi Car were fine.

flux screwed me over on a van insurance policy years ago due to the guy on the phone f**king up. It cost me a lot of money and since then i will never use flux for anything, no matter of the price.

Yes, this was probably an isolated case, but, there are plenty of other good insurance companies out there offering the same service and price, so i'll stick with them.
