Hi all, Finally after several years of maintaining a friends 1.8 1999 hardback freelander and borrowing it once or ten times to entertain me and the children with its summer opentop off road charm up on salisbury plain, i felt the time was right to get my own!
I managed by luck to find a 130 kmiles 2004 td4 se 3door with one family owned and full service history with one garage! very original all round, not without its issues, but after all the usual suspects on my friends 1.8, i felt suitably equipped to handle whatever goes wrong or needs fixing on it! no horrors yet but its early days! First jobs done: major service- rail sensor wiring mod- full set of michelin lattitude cross. Rather looking forward to winter this year as well as the sunny top off days!
