Should you be on your way to Spain/Perpignan, I'd be pleased to see any 'Zoners. I've got a small workshop with a smattering of spares & just treated myself to a car trailer for local recovery. Usually have the coffee on, and know some decent 'green lanes'. I've a pile of stuff taken off old projects that I can't just throw away! May have what you're looking for...just ask.

Thank you for your kind offer.
I will be crossing into Spain on the Atlantic side of the Pyrenees this year but will bare your offer in mind for future trips. Cheers.

Did someone say cake? :p:p:D

@Bignose as an LZIR volunteer they level of assistance you give is entirely your choice on a case by case basis.

Especially with international contacts simply local knowledge is invaluable and anything else is a bonus.

I was thinking of posting to the rescue section, but I'm not altogether about the 'parts at cost' and use of my workshop. Most folk are genuine but there's those that may abuse the system.
LZIR is meant to be a free and friendly service, a bit of help for forum members who are in need. So the 'parts at cost' is just there to make it clear that we don't expect the volunteers to make a profit from misfortune.

It just boils down to, be a nice human being and don't rip someone off when they have little other choice. (ie charge them £100 for a £10 part) :)
