Err me. But I would rather not be getting a cold shoulder,

I will make money on it anyway. She just needs a bit of time to realise I made a good decision. - it was a bit of a last minute bid without any discussion!

mergh i do that all the time. she moaned like hell about us getting our rover p4 but now she loves it

A few years back my (then) missus dropped me off at a garage to pick up a small van I'd agreed to buy for work.. she wasn't very pleased when I returned in a Camero lol.

..even less when she discovered I'd parted the SD1 in for it!!

I'm in the same boat at the mo. Going to hopefully pick up one on Saturday. I did tell the wife though, with the "you know it makes sense" bit - but it don't work. The response was "It will end up like that pile of scrap (the SIII SSW) or that useless thing (the boat) taking up space in the garden". Women just can't see that landscaping isn't all about rocks!

P4 that is an awesome set of wheels - which model?

Refuse to do the housework, hoovering, ironing, pillow fluffing etc, till she comes round and get yourself out in the sun and see if you can GROW A PAIR.

I actually don't lift a finger when it comes to the housework. And as for cooking..... Well I can burn scrambled eggs!

Because she does all of that stuff I kinda like keeping her onside! It ain't got nothing to do with manning up it knowing which side ya bread is buttered on...

Anyway after she slept on it I think we are all good.

I am glad my wife likes landrover's I do not have a problem with her in fact we are looking at buying an old series ,but ham radio gear is another thing .
