I saw a Defender, which had a twin headlamp and grill conversion. Round headlamps were in a flush panel with the inner lamps set at around 45 degrees inwards and lower than the outer ones. When i checked the back in the mirror after we passed, i saw it had got different rear lights too. Tall one piece rectangular rear light units too.
I was so intent on checking out it's rear, i nearly drove over the roundabout near Mazak!
Does anyone know anything about this conversion?
It looked great!!!

Was it a Santana?

j

edit just looked maybe not seems their twin headlights are level.

It was an Iveco Massif

Looks pretty neat actually. Never even heard of them!
Santana (in Spain) used to build vehicles under licence, but they also developed their own variants. And had been since the 1970s. The PS10 was the last variant and is based on the 109, not the 110. Hence the leaf springs (which are still common on pickup trucks even today ;) ). When Santana went under, Iveco restyled the PS-10 into the Massif. I don't believe the Massif was sold in the UK, although the PS-10 was. Arguable both the PS-10 and Massif are superior vehicles to the 110 in many areas.

IF the Massif was RHD and in the UK Iwould probably be interested in owning one. Heresy I know.

I didn't notice which side the driver was sitting. I was too busy looking at the position of the twin headlights, shortly followed by turning the wheel quickly to avoid going straight over the roundabout
