I need this idea out of my head

The idea goes like this....

'Sell the 110 TD5, get a 101 Forward Control'

I can't help it, I REALLY like them. The 110 is only ever used as a recreational vehicle, so it's not like I'd need one to be practical.

Someone tell me something that will convince me it's a stupid idea, and I can banish the thought forever!

I already know they're not actually that good offroad, but I still want one. :doh:

I know but I loves 101's, was outside craddocks the other day drooling over a v8 till the mrs pulled me away.

IF I did go down that route, I'd probably diesel it up anyway.

Probably fit a 3 litre Perkins diesel engine out of an old Dodge 50...

why not put the td5 in it ?

Bit beyond my skill level with a TD5 I suspect.

5 cylinder 101 would be nice though!

I recon an ecotec engine out of a mercedes 814 or 817 vario would give it the beans required.

sure there is someone around here that could do it .
must say i'm bias just love the 5 pot ,but cant say i agree with the 101 tbh (unless its on coils )
if anyone out there wants to donate a 5pot/gbox for me to try in my old off-road 90 i'd have a crack at that
