how to safely remove ECU from footwell wall mounting?

hi i am writing about the 1995 discovery v8. after locating the ecu in the upper corner of the right footwell, i cannot figure out how to dismount it for pinout testing. is it mounted on the wall via screw or holder?

also how do you detach the ecu cable from the socket? there is a latch but the ecu is mounted deep inside so access is awkward, as is visibility

Down load a copy of LRs workshop manual, all the info u need is there. I don't have the info to hand but download links have all ready been placed in the forum a few times, so search and u shall find.
