How to get military vehicle Merlin report

I have recently used the mod and received info from cold files as the merlin system is not active any more for vehicles demobbed

And it cost nothing for that Info x
As U r a moderator beasty what can u tell me about front output bearing on 110 2.5 na LT77 gearbox LT230 transfer box! I have at least 1 1/2” backlash when I turn prop as I have a clunk when taking up transmission gears 1-4 not 5th thank you

will this work on a 1987 demob Would love to find out more about my S3 88 hardtop mainly because it was a diesel on the VIN and evidence in engine bay but was a petrol in 94 when i got it Went on Q plate in 1987 but late Series as has the 109 brakes and metric pipes, dual circuit etc
Painted in olive and had infra red and 6 way plus twin tanks and convoy light over rear axle and military lenses but is 12 volt Diesel series were rare in British army i have been told although told Belgium had them but this is RHD Dont have military number

Don't know, I might be out of date with this but I sent what info I had which was the LR vin and a serial number off a 2nd plate.

The info I received back was the service history and the military reg.

She already had an age related plate when I bought her.

For pre-defender/90/110 era vehicles your better off contacting the logistics museum in deepcut and asking for the B card (I think it’s called that)

will try thanks IIRC i have tried before but dont have military number That said surely the VIN should be recorded when it arrived

Probably yes, ring them and ask.

Certainly was recorded later on.

Hi no plate other than VIN or marks anywhere but lots of military friends have said it is a rare animal so would be great to trace Didn't spend long in either Paintwork was olive looking i engine bay and under hard top etc Its red now

Here's my recent experience looking for the info on my '86 110.

I sent two emails to different direct addresses (which I'd picked up from the forums) and didn't get any response. I then sent a request via the https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/ website, and received a response with a link to a Merlin report database showing many vehicles including mine.

Additionally there is the Royal Logistics archive which has a copy of the vehicle record card but there is a £35 charge to download it and I'm not sure if it's going to tell me any more than the Merlin reports.

Hi, did you ever find out, any info on your Landy? I have an 1980 - 88" petrol. The VIN says it's a 109". It's down as an ex-military with this VIN. Regards Paul
