hi members, ive not been on for a while!!i guess this is a good thing as it means ive had truoble free motoring in my p38!!i just purchased some wiper blades for the p38,i fitted the front in two secs, but when i looked at the rear i started scratching my head as its burried under the boot lid!!i just wanderd if any one can give me some guidance before i start pulling the boot lid to pieces without the need.
thanks to all regards john.

Its a bit silly, run the wiper and then switch off the ignition key to "stall" it when in vertical position. You can then lift it enough to change the blade. Its gonna take you a couple of tries to stall it at the right moment!

Sorry, my bad! Of course it returns back. This is from the owner's manual:

The rear wiper arm is inaccessible in its
stowed position (under a cover at the top of
the tailgate). To change the wiper blade, it is
necessary to stop the wiper arm during its
travel as follows:
Set the rear screen wiper operating, then open
the upper tailgate when the wiper is in a
near-vertical position. The wiper will stop as
soon as the tailgate is opened.
Turn the starter switch to the ’0’ position to
prevent the wiper from operating, lower the
upper tailgate and then replace the wiper
blade (as described for front wiper blade
overleaf). The wiper will continue operating as
soon as the starter switch is returned to
position ’I’.

I did say it was a bit silly! I was trying to remember how I did it about 3 years ago but had forgotten some of the steps. :p
