how easy is it to change the cup holder - ash tray - coin tray assembly on a 2001 TD5
mine are totally foo-bared and a set on fleabay for reasonable money

so if its an easy - ish job might be worth the effort
another thing to put right on the road to an original working landyo_O

Its extremely difficult, you will require a fully equipped workshop, ramps, and heavy lifting gear, and a team of fully qualified technicians! :rolleyes:

If you really can't work that one out, get a Daewoo, they have seven year free dealer servicing.

so its a big job then :eek:

not looked into how it all goes together which was why i asked :(

but thanks for your informative answer I will now sell the Disco and buy a Daewooooooooooooooooo o_O

Can you do the tutorial a bit sooner :rolleyes: then I nose wot to do proper like

found the rave details - will have a go tomorrow as i now know all it takes is 'remove 6 screws' just wondered why there were prison officers i my dashboard:confused:
 
I actually think it is a bigger job than @Turboman made it sound like. Nearly as bad as changing a D3 turbo.

If you get rave it tells you how .........................:D

read where a few brave people have replaced a D3 turbo , with the body on :eek::eek:

Take the whole unit out carefully ... do NOT try to take the cupholders from their frame ... it's all one unit ...
 
There are 3 screws tucked in behind the ash tray and coin tray...
The springs do quite often dislodge, but sometimes the small plastic tab breaks...the Disco 1 and 2 are the same type ...
