Hi community,

RollsRoyce is facing an issue. Hoe do I get the left front inner wing out? The right one went without too much trouble (only slightly more than half a day...), but the left one is bitch. Luckily, the inner wings are only bolted on, but now the brake cylinder is in the way. And workshop manuals or Hayes don't give any hints.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Greetings

I gave up this morning and cut it out. This left the portion under the brake cylinder still in place but at least it should be easier to access now. I'll update the thread once it is completely out... and once the new one is in...

:)

Still struggling with the file upload... And I'm not THAT old yet...
In case it worked, we cut the inner wing with an angle grinder and a cutting disc around 5 cm from the edge of the foot well as the mounting screws were either in accessible (the servo assy sits right on top of one) or rusted solid.
The tricky parts are the brake lines attached to a bracket at the lower edge of the inner wing and the fuel line (the fuel pump was moved into the engine bay). The 5 cm from the foot well are nicely where the servo assy the largest distance to the wing.

After that the wing came of nice and smooth. Getting out the bit that is still attached is a story for next week ...
