yet another overheating P38:doh:
2000 4.6 vogue lpg 71k overheats but not all the time, cant find any leaks no water in oil no smoke/steam from exhaust.... bottom hose and bottom of rad was cold when top hose was hot so replaced thermostat,, seemed to cure the problems for a week,, then tonight drove about 9 miles and the temp gauge flew up to hot stopped and released the pressure from the expansion tank which was boiling, the top hose is hard but not rock hard.. she was running on pure h2o as soon as i releaed the pressure the gauge went back to normal temp ???? dont think its head gasket as problem seems to be intermittant im thinking airlock/blocked rad ?? any suggestions guys
