Not sure where to go next,whilst driving home from work yesterday i noticed the temp gauge was reading high,
I stopped and waited for the engine to cool down .
Whilst under the bonnet i noticed that the expansion tank had swollen and it would appear that i have a very highly pressurised system.
Topped up water and got home .
This morning checked oil,all fine and showing just oil,checked water just water and no oil showing.
Topped back up and took it for a spin temp gauge back up to the red after 5 miles,stpped lifted bonnet and the expansion tank is like a ballon.Waited for system to cool and off we go again until over heating 5 miles down the road.
Can any one shed any light on this one?
