Hey peeps,

Had a look around the forum but can’t find exactly what I want......my high level brake light ain’t working, changed the bulb and nothing, I’m no good with electrical stuff so what could it possibly be, are they known to be faulty?

do your normal brake lights work okay. Pending on the age of the hippo there's a brake light switch that can fail. Best ask someone close to look at the braking lights are okay first. If okay then check the new bulb and test the bulb holder for corrosion on or around the contacts.

It'll be the bulb, the bulb holder or the wiring. The high level drake light is tapped off the RH brake light wiring, so if RH brake light is working ok, it's something between the tapping and the high level light its self.

@hitch6742 get yourself a cheap multimeter (£10 ish).
Learn how to do simple testing (your problem is simple btw) it's very satisfying and you'll get advice on here if you get stuck.
