:rolly:Hi fellow landy nuts.
Chris here i am new to the forum.
I would like some advice please if anyone can help? My sun roof has started leaking with this wonderful summer we are having & i have been told a replacement seal if one can be found is £50 to £60 +VAT & the part number is RTC5942 does anyone out there know of a cheaper alternative or a method of fixing, because the wifes moaning about a wet bum is damaging my eardrums. :mil80:

are you sure it sunroof as landys like to leak !!!
also are all gutter holes clean and free of ****e !!!
mastic or silicone may help if you can get under the frame or seal pushbike tyre leaver is good seal as you pull it along ( wear surgical gloves) could be messy :D

Yeah its the sunroof. The rubber seal that you can touch from the inside that the glass sits on when closed water seaps through, i am gonna try self adhesive foam rubber stormguard draft/weather excluder & stick it to glass side at the weekend if its dry.

I have temporarily sealed it with petrolium jelly.

the stuff you put down the side of car doors is better
do yo know it helps to stop chipping paint on the edge you you slide it onto the lip on the door !!! fits really good mate cost you about a fiver at motormania /or other motor discount store
it will just slide all way around sunroof !!!
