Hi, I have just got a V8i discovery 1 on a K reg, this is my first landrover so am just learning.
It has a LPG conversion fitted with 2 tanks under the car, it runs well on both petrol and gas but isn't as economical as I thought it would be, it is doing about 140-150 miles on a full gas fill which costs about £36, could anybody tell me if this is about right or should it be better than that? (it is an auto).
It starts and runs fine but does clonk when going from drive to reverse and the steering does feel a bit loose although I have checked the steering joints and all are fine, I think the tyre pressures are a bit high and the tyres are all terrain so might change them to road tyres.
We got it to tow our caravan which it does fine but still would like a P38 diesel range rover at some point but am well pleased with the disco for now.
