Hi all

Forum looks fantastic and alrady have found some great tips

The frozen wasteland that is Fife has finally convinced me to pick up an old Defender for getting to the stables, tip and taking too filthy airedales out!

The beemers whilst great fun, as you all know truly are appalling in the snow and ice, hence the desire to not have 2 weeks confinement to the house again!

She comes today so am really excited!!!

Glad you are excited about your Defender but the beemers are appalling in any weather! :D

Thanks Turboman

Had a TVR 500 Griff before - superb fun, but even worse than Beemers in the snow, and not that much better in the wet (unless driving in a straight line!) :)

Pimpmobile inna!

You will enjoy your Def. It is an honest vehicle, they have saved my bacon on the farm often! A low car cant get within a mile of here and we have seen BMW crack its sump on a rock in the lane and all the oil **** out! :D

How I laughed as I towed it away with my 1967 109" :D:D
